DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS to live by, in Year 2020
( 10) Think before you speak, so that you don’t say things you will later regret.
Words are powerful and can have great impact positively or negatively, therefore choose / use them with care.
It’s possible to make enemies in an instant through thoughtless words.
The words you speak can affect you and others for years.
Hear what the Bible says:
The one who guards his mouth, thinking before he speaks, protects his life; The one who opens his lips wide, and chatters without thinking, comes to ruin.

MSG puts it this way:
Careful words make for a careful life; careless talk may ruin everything.
Proverbs 13:3
Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble. ( Proverbs 21:23)
