Do you realise how hurtful your words can be?

A wife who is trusting God for her own children contacted me some time ago to share her pains:
Her words:
I went to a friend’s wedding some time ago, and was totally embarrassed. Someone said to me – should you go to a party when you don’t have a child yet!
There was a time my husband bought me an expensive phone and someone said – Ha! Using an expensive phone like this will make people think that you’re not bothered about your childlessness!
When I wear expensive clothes, they will be like – Ha! Why do you wear such, you don’t have sense at all!
Ma, a woman said to me, – you are too fat. Why are you gaining weight when you don’t have a baby yet!
I have lost all confidence. I can’t even go to a party anymore!
Ma, I don’t know what to do!
Ma, I had to sell the car my husband bought for me because some people around me are talking like I am using what I don’t have a right to use.
Ma, I don’t want to see people again!
Thoughtless words:
Thoughtless words can wound as deeply as any sword, but wisely spoken words can bring healing. (Proverbs 12:18)
Thoughtless means inconsiderate, tactless, lacking wisdom.
The words you speak can affect people for years.
Your words can give a person the courage to hold on and move forward.
And your words can give a person a reason to give up.
It’s possible to make enemies in an instant through thoughtless words.
As Christians, pray and check your spirit before you talk. Choose your words with care.
Be kind in your words.
In your relationship/marriage, be kind in your words and considerate.
Be careful with your words. Once they are said, they can only be forgiven, but not forgotten.
Eph 4:29 (amp) Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God’s favor) to those who hear it.
