*Don’t get distracted!
I sometimes hear people (believers and unbelievers) talk about being distracted, but this is not something that should be taken lightly.
No distraction is of God. Every form of distraction is of the devil, and it is to pull people away from their divine purpose. It is to make them chase shadows rather than things of eternal value that really matter.
Distractions will make you unfruitful. Dont be distracted by emotions, criticism, the things of the world, etc.
If you have been distracted, you have missed the right path. You need to pray, get rid of the distractions, and make the best use of your time.
Scriptures:
and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
Mark 4:19 NKJV
In Luke 10, Martha welcomed Jesus into her house, but she was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.”Luke 10:38-42
Martha lost sight of what was really important.
I pray this year brings everything that will make you smile in Jesus name.
