DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS to live by

Surround yourself with godly counsellors
This instruction is crucial, and God Himself has promised to give you Shepherds who truly know and fear Him; Shepherds after His heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding so that you don’t stumble.
(Jeremiah 3:15)
Our mentors and counsellors can affect so much of our lives and walk with God which is why Paul told some people in 1 Corinthians 5:11, “Now, what I meant was that you should not associate with people who call themselves brothers or sisters in the Christian faith but live in sexual sin, are greedy, worship false gods, use abusive language, get drunk, or are dishonest. Don’t eat with such people.”
If you have ungodly mentors or counsellors, you need to pull back from them, and trust God for Spirit-filled godly ones who can help and keep you on the right track; people who not only know the mind of God for your life but also know how you can achieve it.
Walking with the wise will make you wise, but a companion of fools will suffer harm. (Proverbs 13:20)
I pray this year brings everything that will make you smile in Jesus name.
