DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS to live by

( 213) Don’t procrastinate.
Don’t put off or delay until another time what you can do now. Let the Spirit of God lead you to do things at the right time. There’s great gain in being led by the Holy Spirit and doing things on time.
Yes, there’s a time to rest, but you should not rest when you should carry out a particular task.
You may not find the word Procrastinate in the Bible but quite a number of Sciptures and Bible stories refer to it, to make us know that it should be avoided, because there’s no time to lose.
The following are some of the Scriptures:
Dear friend, if you’ve gone into hock with your neighbor or locked yourself into a deal with a stranger, If you’ve impulsively promised the shirt off your back and now find yourself shivering out in the cold, Friend, don’t waste a minute, get yourself out of that mess. You’re in that man’s clutches! Go, put on a long face; act desperate. Don’t procrastinate— there’s no time to lose. Run like a deer from the hunter, fly like a bird from the trapper!
Proverbs 6:1-5 MSG
Relish life with the spouse you love Each and every day of your precarious life. Each day is God’s gift. It’s all you get in exchange For the hard work of staying alive. Make the most of each one! Whatever turns up, grab it and do it. And heartily! This is your last and only chance at it, For there’s neither work to do nor thoughts to think In the company of the dead, where you’re most certainly headed.
Ecclesiastes 9:9-10 MSG
When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; For He has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed—
Ecclesiastes 5:4 NKJV
And so, whatever you need to do, do it on time, and then rest as necessary.
To overcome the trick of satan, open your life to the leading of the Holy Spirit and obey as He leads you. If you do this, you can never fail or miss your blessings.
I pray this year brings everything that will make you smile in Jesus name.
