DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS to live by, in Year 2020
(16 ) Take negative thoughts captive, to obey Christ.
Don’t let them escape. Arrest negative thoughts – thoughts that are not well pleasing to God and are contrary to His will.
Cast them down, using the name of Jesus, before they become a part of you and destroy you.
In my novel OH BABY! Tammy suddenly realised that she had not been positive in her thoughts for some time. She had become negatively minded and always worrying without realising it. No wonder she was having some challenges.
… She discovered she had to work on her thoughts and that she had to start right away. If a thought came to her mind, she would immediately ask herself, is this a good or a negative thought? If it was negative she quickly replaced it with a positive one. At other times she would ask herself, will this thought make me happy or sad? If the answer was that it would make her sad, she would immediately push it out and begin to sing or replace it with the word of God.
