Divine instructions to live by, in Year 2020
(5) Speak the truth, don’t lie.
Don’t be deceived, a white lie is still a lie, and it is a sin before God.
Lies will lead to more lies, and have the power to separate you from God, friends, and good relationships.
Telling the truth can be a little painful and difficult, and sometimes costly as I pointed out in my book (30 Things Husbands Do That Hurt Their Wives) but at the end, it pays off and is a better choice. It is what God wants you to do.
You will need to pray and make up your mind to obey God, and shun satan as he’s the father of lies.

… The devil … has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are His delight.
I pray that this year brings everything that will make you smile in Jesus name.
