I read this and thought I’d share it with you.
When Kayla was born, the doctors told her parents that she was weak and would probably only live to about age twelve.
Growing up, Kayla considered every minute to be a gift from God.
When Kayla’s little brother was born, she would hold him for hours because she knew she might not get to hold him or play with him later on.
When Kayla and her family went to Disneyland, she enjoyed every minute of it because she wasn’t sure she would ever get to go back. Whenever she had a chance to tell someone how much Jesus loved them, she always did because she knew she might not have another chance. Whenever she said goodbye to someone, she always told them she loved them because she didn’t know if she would see them again.
Kayla lived her life the way all of us should.
She cherished every moment, every second. She died when she was twelve, but you know what? She was ready. She made the most of the time she had, and she didn’t have any regrets.
Dear reader, are you ready? Are you making the most of every hour of every day? Are you sharing God’s love with others when you get the chance?
Think about it. What will you do with today?
Teach us to make the most of our time so that we may grow in wisdom. Psalm 90:12
