3)Stay away from the man or woman. Cut off contacts with the person and if you work at the same place or attend the same church, stay away from him or her.
In the novel, Emeka’s wife asked him, “How will you handle Onyeka?”
“I will simply tell her not to contact me again, and I will stay away from her.” He said.
This is what everyone who wants to end an affair must do.
4)Ask your spouse and God for forgiveness. You need to realize that you have hurt your marriage, your spouse, and God.
Emeka told his wife, “I’m sorry.” He took one of her hands. “I’m sorry for all the pain I’ve caused you … and the tears. I’m sorry I got involved with Onyeka.”
“I’ve heard but I don’t know what you want me to do.” She said and pulled her hand away.
“I want you to forgive me and let’s go back to how we used to be.”
5)Work on your marriage to save it. Some of the things you will need to do are the following: Discuss issues with your spouse and find solutions to them. Spend time with your spouse doing things together. Pray together. And see a marriage counselor or someone who will be able to help your marriage.
God bless you
