What is divine healing all about?
1) It’s about getting healed by God’s power
2) It’s about believing that Jesus carried our pains and by His stripes we have been healed
3) It’s about enforcing and receiving our healing because Jesus has paid the price
4) It’s about knowing that sickness is not from God and sickness is not His will for His children
5) It’s about rebuking the sickness knowing that Satan is the one behind it
6) It’s about putting our trust in God to receive healing.
7) It’s about knowing that God is the Most High and has the final say. What you see or hear or have been told is not the final word. God’s word is the final.
Divine healing says that God has already made the provision for our healing.
This definitely does not mean or say that we should do away with medicine or that it is wrong to take medicine.
God is the One Who empowered some people with the gift of knowledge of medicine – doctors and medical personnels, to bring healing which is His will.
For every good and perfect gift is from God.
James 1:17
And there is no authority (or power or knowledge) except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
Romans 13:1 NKJV
God has also empowered some people with the gifts of healings, to bring healing too.
1Corinthians 12:9
And so, divine healing does not reject or rule out medicine.
Because all things work together for the good of those who trust God.
Anyone (including Christians) who needs to visit hospital or go for check up should do so by all means unless he/she is sure that God is saying otherwise.
I also go to hospital when I have to but my trust is in God.
And so, God can use doctors and medical personnels to bring healing and cause all things to work together for the good of His children.
God wants us well.
