Keep these in mind.
Meditate on them, search your heart, and pray.
Someone said: Be a reflection of what you’d like to see in others.
If you want love, give love, if you want respect, give respect.
You get in return what you give, for what you sow, you shall reap.
Life is an echo, what you send out comes back.
Everything you do, and say, every choice you make, sooner or later comes back around.
This is correct and biblical. The Bible encourages us to do to men what we will want them to do to us.
But more importantly, be a reflection of God! The Bible says a lot about this.
And put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. (Ephesians 4:24)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2Cor. 5:17)
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2)
Ask yourself,
Are you a reflection of God’s glory?
What attitude are you sowing?
Pray:
Lord, whatever I’m doing that’s not right, correct me and change me,
Let my life be a reflection of You,
in Jesus name
