WHO MAY KNOW THAT HE/SHE IS SAVED?
Those who have done the following things can know for sure that they are saved.
Those who:
(a) have repented and forsaken their sins (Isaiah 55:7),
(b) and have confessed their sins (Prov. 28:13),
(c) and have believed that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (John. 3:16,36),
(d) have called on Him for mercy (Lk. 18:13) and
(e) have received Him as their personal Saviour and Lord (Jn. 1:12).
Anyone who has sincerely done these things could have an assurance of salvation. But note that the repentance must be genuine if it is to lead to true salvation.
