(59) Choose good friends.
It is good to have friends and even the Bible encourages it because there’s great value in friendship.
As I mentioned in the book GOD’S WORDS TO SINGLES, good friends influence you positively, and stand with you against issues or events that threaten you.
They make life much better. That is why the Bible says, “Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labour. (Ecclesiastes 4:9)
Good friends keep you in check.
They can also help you discover who you really are. Good friends will tell you the truth, sometimes the truth that you may not want to accept.
Proverbs 13:20 ESV
Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.
